Your beats can get you into the studio with ?uestlove of The Roots if you win The Score, VH1.com's new competition for hip hop producers.

The winner will collaborate with ?uestlove to produce a full-length track for VH1's television broadcast of Hip Hop Honors 2007 and get tickets to the show.

i have music in my head but have trouble getting it out. usually reason works me instead of me working reason. i haven't made a single full track. i have creativity, i know it, but i can't project it with reason. i experiment for hours on end trying to fight reason but it beats me.

then i play the sims.

I guess I just have to stay focused and not let my mind wander... that's my main problem.

Same thing happening with me, although I think it's because I've been focusing on my songwriting much more and I'm just not good at trying to focus on two things at once.
