| I am using Reason Adapted for digidesign. How can I add a second mixer? I've read the manual, googled and searched many forums for this answer (the operator manual tells me how to chain two mixers, but it does not tell me how to create a new mixer device). The closest I came to an answer was "use the create menu". I don't have a create menu. I have File, Edit, Options, Window, Help. I have right clicked everywhere, turned things round, dragged and dropped but have not been able to do this very simple thing. Please help, thank you. |

If I recall correctly reason adapted limits you to a certain amount of devices you can make, so maybe the answer is you can't make a second mixer. sorry I can't give you a sure answer but I have the full reason and don't have protools |

Personally I create a line mixer, then I create mixer 1, then 14 devices, mixer two, 14 devices and so on. That way I can use as many devices as I want. It's like a mixer for a mixer. If this is what you're talking about, then I can get you a screenshot to illustratrate my point, I didn't point it out that well...

I usually have a "master mixer" and a "redrum mixer" and feed the redrum one into master mixer, channel 1. And then each sample from redrum into it's own channel on redrum mixer. But ya, I don't know about your castrated version, maybe as _SG_ pointed out, you can't do that... |
