Reason can only use control surfaces (keyboards in your case) that use midi. So I suggest finding a midi keyboard that's fairly small if you travel alot.

I got a home studio with a Firebox as my mixer and acouple of other things hooked up to it like preamps, equals, etc... I believe Firebox comes with a cord for midi inputs.. |

you can get a midi keyboard for practically nothing nowadays. my keyboard is great and it cost under 100 euro. Miditech Studio-2. I'm not really into hardware (I don't have much money, I'm thirteen) apart from circuit bending, so I can't help you with any technical stuff like that.
