I'm a bit confused by this question, are you asking how to map two instruments to a certain key range using a combinator? Or how to play them simultaneously?

if you put two or more devices into a combinator, along with a mixer, then when you play a note using the combinator, it "combines" the two devices to play two tones at once.

the malstrom graintable synthesizer can also play two or more tones. When you load up "init patch" if you look below the waveforms you'll see two tones. You can choose which tones you want to use, and glitch them up with the "shift" function.

If you want to glitch it up even more, you can turn the "rate" knob on the waveform section all the way to the right, gives it a sort of rhytmic approach.

Anyway...

I've attached a picture, you probably know what I mean, but don't understand what I'm talking about because of vocabulary.

The oscillator section of a malstrom has the ability to load up two tones to play simultaneously. In this picture I have two "Sine" tones loaded up, and both osciallators are enabled. I have the "shift" knob turned to the right, which results in a very glitchy sound.

okay i see, you dindt understood the question ;-)

second try ;-) -->

1 - i have for example a malström.
2 - play some notes with the malström on a sequencer track.
--> the malström has for example an "passed on by" patch loaded

so and now the tricky part -->

i wanna play another sound at another sequencer track with the same malström at the same time....for example a "saturn talk hold" patch.

--> the problem is, both sequencer tracks has midi signals....but the settings in the malström is different. the malström is playing at both sequencer tracks the actual settings from the malström. --> both sequencer tracks are playing the "saturn talk hold"-patch. i dont wanna create two malströms, because at the end i have 7 malströms and a lot of another stuff in the rack. or is it the only way ,creating a new malström,to play another sound at the same time.

i hope you understand now ... ;-)

Not possible.

Even if you could use the same device on more than one track, you can only load one patch per device for a whole song. You have to create seperate Malstroms.

Hope I understood this time
