| I'm pretty new to creating music and im starting a college course next year in it so i'm trying to get a basic understanding as a bit of a headstart. I have reason and have started to use it. I don't have a midi keyboard so i wanted to know how to record with the redrum tool. Is it possible without a keyboard? and if so could someone please give me an idea of how to do this? Sorry if a lot of questions like this come up and they are boring or obvious to answer but i'd really like to know. Heres a screenshot of how i have it set up: ![]() Nothing comes up in the bottom box when i hit record. Thanks in advance, Sam |

you can still use synthesizers and make keyboard sounds without a keyboard. you can just use your mouse. but it's a lot easier just to buy a MIDI keyboard, you don't have to get a real good one. My one cost under 100 euro.

yeah you just right click the redrum and click copy track to sequencer (make sure the redrum is hi-lighted in the sequencer with the keyboard icon next to it before you click that)...
