You might want to clear out your ears, copy data to track does just that. It basically copies the data needed to sequence a drum kick, snare etc, not the sound itself. What ever tweaks you've made to redrum should sound exactly the same on the sequencer. The only way I see your sound being effected is that after you're copying the data to track you're not turning off the "Enable Pattern Section" which stops the redrum and the data on the sequencer from doubling up. So try that then play your beat.

hey, the enable pattern is not selected as the pattern is not doubling up, it seems like the bass drum loses its bassyness when i play it from the sequencer. there is a difference in sound when playing from seq and redrum! cheers |

No offence or anything, but I think itmust be you. I can't think of any possible reason for that to be happening, unless you're using EQ in the sequencer, possibly in that Default Audio MClass thing... (sorry I can't remember what it's called I don't use it often.
