Can you use .wav files in Reason I bought some looped sampled it said it was compatable on ebay but for some reason when I browse for them I see the folder in reason but no samples is there a reason for this any help would be great. thanks

In reason you have to create a device that can import wav files to use them. These devices are the Redrum (obviously used for drum samples) and then the nn19 and nnxt used for general samples. To learn how to use the nnxt visit this recent thread where i set up a little pic tutorial.
