| I realise one way around this would be to splice it up in recycle and present it as a normal loop with many sub parts, but I don't have recycle. |

Yes, recycle is the only way! If you upload it somewhere and PM me the link, I can chop it for ya, I have Recycle.

Thats stupid. Even if you have 4 long samples all 3 min's long running and then you solo one, when you un-solo it the audio for the other 3 doesn't come back on Thanks for the offer Moltar but it not worth the hassle, just a little experiment I was doing. |

Just create another nnxt with the same sample and change the "Start" and "End" knobs on the sample to your liking. If you don't understand still I can post some pics. _SG_ |

Good thinking SG, you wouldn't have to create a new NNXT either, just duplicate the sample, change the root note then draw a new note in the sequencer in accordance with the root note. It's still a fiddly process but one worth keeping in mind for shorter samples. Is there anyway of fixing the root note and then being able to flick through individual samples without the root note moving back to it's default position? I tried the "lock root notes" button but can't seem to get it to work. |
