I use a roland GR-33 myself. There is a bit of a learning curve to using it. Lag is an issue but it does work well. There are also some others out there. Axiom makes a great synth system for guitar, also roland has a few others. I'm rather pleased with my GR-33 myself.

I have a Roland system put into my Parker as well. Works pretty well, although it's still not as accurate as using a keyboard.

I wish they would consider left-handed players with the Pro guitar. I have both the original AX 100 and the mk2 version. Nothing like them, nothing. Designed to give accurate triggering, with low-latency, it is a true plug-and-play solution for monophonic MIDI guitar.
