Default Nudging notes; Is this possible?

Does anyone know if there is a way of "nudging" notes in the piano roll left/right? ie I want to be able to press a key and have the selected notes move a small amount in the desired direction.

Now I don't really get what you mean exactly. What do you mean by nudging with a key, do you want to somehow use this with automating? I know I know, I'm slow.

Nah.

Your in your piano roll. Lets say draw a note with the pencil key in a random place, and then select that note using the arrow tool. Next I want to be able to hit a key on my keyboard and move the selcted note a little bit to the left or right (nudge it). Nothing to do with effects or automation. The note can stay where it is once its been moved. It would save me zooming in selecting the note and moving it manually.

Yeah, I know what you mean. This would be awesome. This is something like in Photoshop where you can move (or nudge as you said it) the image pixel by pixel to achieve pixel precision. I think this is an awesome feature to have. But I tried to do this different ways and wasn't able to do this. So I guess there is no way!

Wouldn't it just. Maybe in Version 4????
It would be nice if the automated tracks (blue ones) could be named as well.

I tend to automate the mixer levels on my main mixer for most tracks, especially when i'm nearing the end of the project and want to fix the mix for choruses etc.

However when you look at the sequencer track for the main mixer and the corresponding 9 or so automated level events (in blue) the blue part is named mixer level 1, mixer level 2 etc etc.

I would like to be able to re-name these because I have no idea what instument is playing on mixer track 6 and instead have to flick back to the devices and look for myself.

Not that the mixer has numbers on it which is annoying, instead you have to hover the mouse over the slider to see which track it is.
