Question Midi Keyboard help

My Midi keyboard, which is connected to my PC through USB, isn't sending out any MIDI signal for some reason. It's Midistudio 2 and I have already tried all of the obvious steps to try to combat the solution.

btw one of my songs I made WITHOUT using the keyboard:

throughout the whole intro you have only the beat going on and it's well boring. then you have that classic reason soundbank sound (the woop-woop crazy sample) that i've heard in oh-so-many tracks. and where's the bassline?

and wtf is going on? it's like you have multiple tracks and sketches in the same track?

edit: sorry if i come off as too harsh but i tend to pretty much say what i think. you need to work more on this and you could have a great track

I didn't have my keyboard working, and I know that it was really repetitive, but that was because I was originally going to put a lead there but couldn't when my keyboard stopped working, and I didn't remove it.
Dr.Rex seemed like the only solution, and I had to use the loops that came with Reason, although I also added in an Eastenders loop I made in about 30 seconds using reCycle.
I've only been using Reason for a couple of months now as well. The woop-woop fx is actually quite annoying, and I played a tom-tom over and over again really fast which sounded really stupid.

If I had the time and the will to edit that I would have done so, but meh.

Anyway thanks for your critisism (no sarcasm)

Welcome aboard, Titancow! This sounds like a lot of my early stuff )) I started producing 4/4 hard house beats as well. It's def lacking bassline and leads...

errrm, welcome. A complementary copy of reason is being shipped to your house as we speak.

I can't help with the keyboard, I bought a Korg microcontroller and plugged it into my USB and bob's your uncle it was automatically set up to suit Reason.

Try doing a search on this forum to see if anyone else has had the same problem.
