What program would you use to capture on-screen?

I use camtasia,(google it) I like it, but due to my audio problems with it I don't think I'll be using it. But the only reason I'm having audio problems is because I want to record with my usb mic and my built in sound card at the same time, camtasia can only do mic and soudcard if you plug the mic through your soundcard not usb, so now I have to start up total recorder, use that to record reason's sounds and camtasia to record my voice then sync it together, it's kind of a hassle, does anybody else know of video capture programs able to record mic and soundcard if the mic is plug in through usb?

Hey, I do not have a paypal account but i do have a good idea for a tutorial, i noticed someone was after some wiring tricks, I learnt on a course about how to rewire the drums into each channel but i don't know whether it would be too basic or advanced, i used it to separate all the drum channels so that you could add an effect to one drum, or maybe so that you could level the sound out.

I reckon it could be useful to have....

Would anyone be interested in a glitch run combi tutorial? I'd rather not waste my time if the answer is no but it's a guide to setting up a combinator similar to the Jenkinson preset in R4 (and maybe 3?)

I don't need money for doing it, would just like to help those interested with a few different setups

Default This may sound stupid but....

I'm a 50 year old song writer and newbee to reason 3.0. For someone like myself where the terminology is way over my head I find these tutorials useless to me.

I've purchased one, and no matter how many times I rewind it and listen to it again, I get even more confused. I've also paid for hourly lessons, but again the terminology is over my head.

I just want to use pre set drum beats for my original songs. It seems I can never find one that works for me. I also have several of Reason Refills.

Is there any type of written instructions for stupid people like myself on using Reason with steep by step instructions. example

1. Press brouse button
2. Click on ****
3. Claick to Track Button
4 etc.

I have had Reason now for about a year and I have not been able to use it to even half the potential of the program. Any suggestions?

Just stick with it is my advice. I give lessons to whoever wants them - but it is quite rewarding figuring things out yourself, the terms used to be confusing to me too, but the more you use it the more you sub consciously take everything in...

hi there here is a link to my tutorial blog, I am doing tutorials on reason, i use reason 4 but some will be easily backwards compatible. Mainly for beginners at 1st as I need to get more confident with more advanced stuff.

Also will contain Ableton tutorials eventually. Will not be updated regular to be honest but will do my best
