Default Envelope controlled filter - help.

I can't seem to get the envelope settings on this filter to have any effect on my source sound. The freq setting have an effect, but changing the attack/decay etc doesn't change a thing. Yes - I have tryed the envelope velocity knob ( I think thats what its called - I don't have reason infront of me).

Cheers.

well that's because you have to connect the env gate input on your filter to a mod output somewhere.

try this little example to give you an idea.

1. create a dr. rex (load a file of course)
2. create a filter
3. tab to teh back of the rack
4. connect the mod output (lfo) from the back of dr. rex to the env gate on the back of the filter.
5. now mess with the lfo in dr. rex and the adsr on the filter and be amazed

Cheers, I'm sure I did try that, but I presumed the envelope would still work in much the same way they do on the Synth's, ie without gating. I'll give it another go.
