Yes you can use reason without a midi keyboard but it's just not very fun, so I say at least use bome's mouse keyboard. http://www.bome.com/midi/keyboard/help/ Tutorails are there to help you hook it up. |

I use bome keyboard and it's pretty good for simple things like basslines...

i don't use a keyboard with reason -- i find i take more time working on the song and often get some unexpected surprises -- yes, it can be tedious at times, but sometimes a misdrawn or misplaced note yields a surprise i never thought of -- i also like the time i take -- when i'm done i feel like my hands were really in it
