Default knob mapping

you should be able to just right click(or mac equivalent) on what ever you want to control and a short option menu will come up. choose remote mapping override (or something to that extent) and a small dialogue box will come up that will either allow you to enter which key you want to control or there is a box that you can check that will sense which knob you are using and automatically program it to that. sorry i can't be more precise but I am away from my comp. With reason on it so I am doing this from memory
