| I linked it to Reason through the control surfaces dialog like the manual says, and created a new Subtractor to try it out, but I got nothing. The modulation wheel, pitch bend, and volume slider work perfectly fine as the respective controls move in Reason and the green light goes on in the sequencer. But the actual keys don't do anything, and according to Reason there is no signal from them at all. Does anyone have any idea how to fix this? I guess its something stupid I've missed out rather than having a dud keyboard, but I've run out of ideas and now its just frustrating me. I'm running Reason 3.0 on Windows XP SP2 and my soundcard is a Realtek HD. Any help would be appreciated |

Sup man? First make sure your keyboard doesnt have to be on any preset before using with reason, like the keystation pro88 has to be on p10, the O2 has to be on p2, check any m-audio forums to see if thats required. You can play around with the presets to see which on works. When you try to link the keyboard to your instrument patch, make sure what ever channel your controller is linked to is controlling the instrument patch by selecting it on the hardware interface. hope that werks! |

Hey, thanks for replying I know its a stupid question, but how do you go about changing the presets? I can't find much reference to it in the manual I have, except that different controllers can have different presets assigned. I read something in one of the pdfs that came with Reason about making a new remote map, so do you think that would work? It seems a bit arduous considering lots of sites on the web sell this controller and Reason together.. |
