First off not to offend you but you're a little short on supplying the correct information for the correct answer. I can't really help you too much on this because I don't use protools, however I've watched some videos and I'm pretty sure you don't use Reason through a plugin menu, it's not a plug in technically it's a program you use through rewire. Maybe it's in Protool's "device" menu if there is one, that's how it is in cubase. And also version 6.7?, does that even support rewire? I'm not sure. As for installing it on an other hard drive that shouldn't count as long as reason is booted after protools is booted it should start in slave mode. While on that subject, remember to use reason in rewire through protools you must start protools and then ALSO must start reason then you can use the loaded reason project's tracks and effects etc. Hoped that helped a little. _SG_ |
