Recently bought a sustain pedal by mgear that is being used through my akai mpk49. It works fine while playing live with it but after I record in reason, it plays back with no sustain. How do you fix this? Thanks

Logic's control surface prefs which, for whatever reason, are intercepting the sustain pedal messages from your keyboard and turning them into something else that's not getting recorded. It is critical that you punch in when the pedal is up (controller data is on the bottom of the Sustain Lane). Otherwise it will sustain the punch in until they press down and back up again on the pedal.
