| I have some gigs coming up in which I'll be playing in a drummerless trio (guitar, bass, sax). The venue wants smooth jazz/acid jazz, groove music, blah, blah, whatever. Obviously this is tough to pull off without a drummer. I'd like to configure some play-along drum sequences that I can organize for specific songs. I love some of the jazz beats in the Octo Rex refill and if it's possible, it would be great to be able to arrange a couple in a single sequence. I don't want to have to change patches/loops in the middle of the song (I'll be busy enough with guitar stuff) but I am fine with manually fading out the track if necessary. I have Cubase 5 rewired to Reason. What is the best way to accomplish this? Anyone done something like this before? Thanks |
