Hey, I have had Reason 5 for about a year now and am interested in producing hip-hop beats. I have several questions which may seem kinda dumb but any help is very appreciated.

1. First of all, if I want to rap over any given beat, do I need to buy Record? And, what kind of mic would I need to buy in order to do this?

2. Is there anyway to make sure my beats are recorded completely smoothly? In other words, suppose I record three different notes that our each a quarter note long using my midi keyboard. How do I make sure the notes are spaced out perfectly. Like the time between notes A and B might be a little less than the times between notes B and C. How do I space these out perfectly?

3. How I duplicate sections I have recorded; in other words, create loops?

4. How do I sample? Do I need WAV files? How does this work?
