| I'm relatively new to Reason 4 and have a question re: exporting the best quality audio out of Reason. I currently have the IO Buffer size set to 1024 which gives a resulting latency of 23 ms. I'm using the new Duet 2 audio interface. I'd like to know what the best or optimal setting should be in order to get the best quality audio exported out of Reason to work with in Logic express 9. thanks much in advance gary __________________ Computer: 15" Laptop -Mac OS X Lion 10.7.2 (11C74)/ 2 GHz Intel Core i7/4 GB 1333 MHz DDR3 S-ware/H-ware: Logic Express 9.1.5/ Reason 4.0/Apogee Duet 2/Roland A500S midi controller |

I use a small Reloop DJ usb interface at the moment, mainly coz i got it cheap. And its working fine for me. In Reason 5 only i use it at 128 samples and i have no issues with the sound and thats with quite alot of tracks and combis/synths/effects. I've just started using Reason with Live8 and at the moment i have it at 128 samples also. Using the CPU load thingy in prefences in Live there are no issues at 80% load and the latency is at 5.99 ms input and 10 ms output. When i have the sample rate set at 1024 i have a huge amount of latency, 26.3 in and 46.4 out. As your interface retails at something like 3 times the price of mine, id expect it to handle things better. Not that i know much about these things, im really a quite a nublet. I hope this helps
