| I'm so happy Propellerhead is going to integrate audio recording into Reason 6 at last. Does it mean that I can record without a hardware mixer? I'd like to record guitars, vocals and Reason devices simultaneously by connecting the guitar and the mic to the inputs on the audio interface and use Reason's virtual mixer. Is this possible? Also, can I plug the guitar in without an amp and use the Line 6 amp simulators in real-time guitar playing (I mean not only after I recorded a guitar part and than applying effects to it)? Or the other effect devices or route the audio signal throug Thor's filters? |

I would imagine so as programs like protools etc have internal mixers. Not to mention reason has mixers for the rack. Hardware mixers are pretty outdated since everything can be controlled right inside the computer now-a-days. Only time I really see them being used are in full studios. I gotta say mixing on an analog mixer is still my favorite though!
