I'm using Reason 5 with an MPD 24 and i'm having velocity issues it seems.


Seems the volume for each bass note gets higher as i progress on each pad.

i want each bass note to be on the same volume level if that makes any sense...

Not sure what you mean by "progress on each pad". Are you saying you want all pads to produce the same volume no matter how hard you hit them?

Yeah nebula that's what i was trying to say.

Any idea?

This issue just started happening recently. Never happened in reason 4.

Well there's a button labelled "FULL LEVEL" on the front of the MPD, have you tried that?

I'm very aware of that button.

normally I sample my bass-lines and run them through NN-XT.


I've messed around with the Subtractor Malstrom Thor... and never had this issue.

I wanted to start experimenting with them again and I run into this problem.

My "FULL LEVEL" button works just fine so i know that's not the issue.

it's only when it comes to using these devices....



So if you got any other ideas i'd appreciate it.
