| or for example if I just program a drum beat from scratch using the pencil tool into the sequencer and say I composed 4 bars. how can I change the dynamics/lengths/ etc. of each bars drum sounds? Last edited by appetite4gnr; September 3rd, 2011 at 09:02. |

Are you talking about individual notes, or the channel as a whole? Notes have only two properties that you can set; the channel has a whole bunch. Note properties Length -- select the note with the cursor tool and stretch it. Velocity -- select the note with the cursor tool and set its velocity in the pane below. The note will change color accordingly (red=loud, white=quiet). Channel properties: Mute, Solo, Send 1, Send 2, Pan, Level, Velocity->Level, Length, Decay mode, Pitch, Tone, Velocity->Tone Click the Track Parameter Automation button, and select the channel parameter you wish to automate. Then use the pencil tool to draw in the curve in the box that will be created for you. |
