Unhappy Effects added to ReDrum won't show on track.

So my issue is that I added Scream 4 to a single drum channel on ReDrum. Thing is, the effect isn't apparent once I coppy the drum pattern to the track. The drum sounds plain. I tried a merger, though i'm not really sure how to use it, and that didn't work. How could I add effect to redrum... effectively? Please, help. Thanks guys.

Hmm, that shouldn't happen. Whether the notes are triggered by a pattern or the note lane shouldn't matter.

How are you applying the Scream to your ReDrum? Is it directly wired to a ReDrum channel, or is it configured as a send effect?

What if you create the ReDrum + Scream 4 inside a Combinator?

same issue with me as well; although I'll take it just one step further and mention that when i copy pattern to track it sounds as if the redrum is being run through some kind of chorus effect. sounds completely different than when i just "run" the pattern. ...but i'm a newbie to reason so I'm still fumbling my way through.

That's simple -- you get a chorus effect because now you have two identical drum patterns playing simultaneously on top of each other (one from the track, and one from the ReDrum itself).

To fix this, after you copy the pattern to track, uncheck the "Enable Pattern Section" button on the ReDrum, or switch to a blank pattern.
