| I just upgraded from Reason 3 to 5. In 3 each track in the sequencer had a drop-down that let you reassign a track from one device to another. How is this implemented in reason 5? I.E. if I want to reassign track 3 from subtractor 2 to subtractor 5, how would I proceed? Thanks, I'm sure this is a terribly basic question but I've scoured the manual and google and can't find the answer. |

I'm not 100% sure this is what you want to accomplish, but there is an easy way to "swap" track content between different devices: Look at the attached image: click (on the "dotted" colored tab) and drag the device you want to change (1) and drop it at the device you want to be the new source (2). Then do the process in reverse to move the recorded track of the second device to the first... I'm not sure this was helpful, but at least I tried... |

Or you could do the same thing as Bath suggested but just select the midi info and drag and drop with the arrow tool as well Dose |

Using those methods I can switch midi between devices provided they already have a track. But in Reason 3 I could click the drop-down on a track and change the device to which it was linked. Is this functionality gone now? Thanks for the replies. |
