Default About the sound

There is a big Difference when I play my songs through Reason and when I extracted to wav and especially to mp3. Can you give me some advice how to get the same type of sounding no metter the form of compression I use?

Im a little confused... WAV should be a lossless filetype, so there shouldn't be any change in quality, unless you are going from higher bit depth and sample rate to 16bit 44,100...??

My exported WAV's sounds exactly like they did inside Reason...

Could it be that you are using some EQ'ing or something (via your soundcard) when you play WAV/MP3 files outside Reason? Or perhaps some settings are wrong when you export?

Yeah, that's what I thought too. You're probably playing Reason through a raw ASIO driver, and your media player plays through a WaveOut with enhancements (EQs, reverbs, etc). The two can sound very different.

Try playing your mp3 in different media players, or fiddle with the audio settings.

If you have an acer machine, make sure you turn off all of it's audio "enhancements". Same goes for any make really - ensure that all audio enhancements are turned off.

If you're unsure where to do that give us a shout, but it's usually accessed by right clicking on the volume mixer in the system tray and double ckicking on playback devices (providing you're using the inbuilt soundcard).......

Played a bit with my soundcard settings /creative audigy zs 2/ and I thinck I found the problem. Set the EQ and effects to none also set the dynamic range to maximum and now I'm waiting everybody to get out of the house to raise the volume and see how it sounds now.
