| I don't know where to begin so any help would be appreciated. Also, what sort of software will I need to clean the voice up? I take it it will need some sort of processing to bring it out and make it sound better than the raw format? Many thanks. |

A cheaper software option is Ableton Live —that is very reliable. Take a look around m-audio website and check their studio mics, they're very fuç%n' cheap! and maybe they give you an ableton live lite version by free; just maybe, you can check this in each product detailed info. Mic models i prefef from them: Solaris and Luna. http://www.m-audio.com/index.php?do=...ID=microphones alright? greets and good luck! Darbo |

Hi Darbo, thanks for the advice. My local music shoppe stocks the M-Audio range so I'll give them a whirl. M-Audio seems to be cropping up as recommended all over the place! |

I recommend AKG microphones, they are really good with the right preamp. Just visit http://www.guitarcenter.com/ and search AKG mics. http://www.guitarcenter.com/shop/pro..._sku=103058004 I use this one personally with a great preamp. |
