| I needing some help hopefully someone here has the answer, what i want is to be able to play a guitar riff in reason, basically how do i find out what notes to play in a synth...say thor, from a riff. I'm wanting to go from guitar to keyboard. I'm not really sure how else to explain it so sorry if it sounds abit strange, thanks. |

Depends on how much music theory you know. If you know your guitar tabs by name (e.g. Cm7, D#sus4), just look up their piano equivalents here: http://tabnabber.com/piano_chords.asp If you have a tab file of a song, you can convert it to piano chords automatically: http://tabnabber.com/convertorBasic.asp Otherwise, you'll have to match up the tabs and chords note-by-note: http://www.freeguitarlessons.co.za/g...uitarnotes.png |

i have heard about music theroy but dont know anything about it...i did find a online converter but what it gave me was wrong, i dont think it is 100% reliable, thanks for the help though.
