Hi,

Any type of electronic music really, just for fun. I started with the major synths of the late 80's, but gave it a rest when I was a broke student in the early 90's.

Got back into it again when I got my first proper job and workstations were maturing (Trinity).

My current h/w includes Virus TI, M3, Blofeld, Motif etc but I am blown away by the potential of Reason 5 now I am getting my head around things like Blocks, Combinator etc.

Given that the latest h/w synths are based on PC technology anyway (e.g Kronos has an Intel Atom board in it), my own opinion of s/w vs h/w has changed. To be honest, I don't need the other equipment any more (apart from the M3 for it's Karma). Reason allows me to do everything that I was "trying" to do with my hardware in a nice compact, easy to use, cheap, portable package.

No looking back now
