Within the next week or so, I plan on putting a HUGE amount of seperate posts in this thread, mainly with the aim of helping out people that are new to Reason or the music production scene, offering tips on how to use the program, basic mixing and mastering techniques, as well as my own thoughts.

I've been trawling through (literally 100's) of professional articles about Reason, and from those I will sum up the most important aspects of the software in a single place - so while most information will come directly from other articles (read: Cut and paste), it is my hope that it will be a very useful go-to thread for everyone to visit and read up on our beloved software!

Even the seasoned pro's may learn a thing or two about Reason, I did!

Although the source information is already available, they do come from a variety of different sources, and getting it all in one place will actually be quite a bit of work, so I'm only going to do this if there is enough demand...

That's a cool idea. As for learning the software, I'm doing really well in it. My only problems concern Reason not hearing my mic for sampling. Reason 5 can sample the mic and the instruments within it, but for some reason, it doesn't hear jack on my com. The mic works with other programs, but nothing in Reason 5 picks up. You know theres a problem when it cant even sample from its own sounds.

That's my beef with it. So, if you have anything on that, then that would help me out a lot.
