| so the thing is i'm kinda new to reason and virtual music. i play the guitar but making music with reason is totaly different. it would be nice if everybody could post rns file of songs they tried to remake or enything alse. i htink everibody (like me) could learn different things from this. so i just started remaking strobe from deadmau5 , i wen't for a shorter version as the original has 11 minutes.i still have to sort things out and figure that metalic organ sound. here is the link (can't post the full link cose i'm a new user and i got restrictions) mediafire.com/?8v5x4pdsnq932c3 o yeah, i have a problem with this. when i convert it to aif or wav and play it on winamp i hear some wired background noise at the begining that i can't sigure out. |

I would recommend that you jump over to reasonstation.net. They have a huge user-based archive of users songs and projects updated frequently. You can also post your song. This is primarily a forum only format. A couple of tips when posting that will help the general community: -Let everyone know it is a Reason 5 file. A lot of people haven't upgraded from 4 yet. -Let everyone know if there is any 3rd party refills. If there are, you might try converting the song to an audio file so people won't be left out if they don't have the necessary refills to play your song. That being said, I'm not sure what your converting issue is without looking at it personally. You might check your audio properties in Reason and also Winamp. Good Luck! Dose |

Just thought of this....when you export, you might need to adjust the properties of what your exporting (16 or 24 bit, Khz). Dose |

oh thanks, that site helped with rns files. yeah, iīm using reason 5 and most of the sounds are from factory bank except some redrum elements wich i got from a friend,i only used reason for this track. iīm exporting at the standard rate(44.100 hz) and depth (16) this is the first time this happens and itīs anoing that i canīt figure it out,so far i tried geting all the mixer volumes down some more and i donīt think itīs from the instruments as i used the same settings before with no problems. i traied plaing it with 2 other players and it makes the same oscilating sound in the background at the bigining and in other parts on the song. here is the link for the mp3 mediafire.com/?v31da7nh0v7cfv7 regards, dan |

If this is supposed to include an example of the problem in it, I don't hear anything, unless you are talking about the white noise "swoosh" sound, but that sounds intentional. Other than that, a clean mix. Your sound issue must on your end. Dose |

What are you using to input the notes in your sequencer? In the sequencer, on the selected track you want to edit, if you go into your track properties (edit mode), There should be an icon that looks like signal strength on your mobile phone. If you click on that, there are red bars indicating the velocity of your notes (only where there notes of course!), and you can change them however you see fit with the pencil tool. From what I remember anyway...! |
