Default Question, why do some instruments not play

For eg, i got reason pianos going, a and orchestra, then i try to open bass, and it wont work, but when i press on the keyboard, there are the green stuff that goes up in the bass "combinator" but theres no sound, and from that point on, no other instruments i add will work, only the ones i had put on previosly will work.

Check to make sure that you are routed to the mixer and make sure that you don't have instruments muted or soloed on the mixer as well. I know this is a simple/bland solution, but just a starting point before we dig deeper...

I get this sometimes, usually just unplugging the usb cord from my keyboard and plugging it back in does the trick. Could be something different for you that's causing the problem though...

Oh yeah and check that your device is configured as the control device.

Are you routed to the mixer properly?

Press TAB and make sure your cables are correctly routed to your mixer, as Dose has suggested.

Also, if you have placed your signal path through an effect module, make sure that the module is enabled (top left).

The options are:

Bypass
On
Off

You need it to be on (effects enabled) or bypass (effects diabled) and not off (whole signal disabled).

If your other synths are working and your new one's aren't it's unlikely to be a soundcard issue, because if that was the case NO sound would be heard at all.

I use Windows 7 and everything is current. Yes, what you heard in the mp3 file is exactly what I am speaking about. Some notes missing in the coursework of playback.
