This is probably so easy!

I tried to setup the Matrix sequencer with the nn19.

First, I created the NN19 and selected a patch.

Next, I created a matrix directly below it. I pressed tab to view from behind- the "note cv' on the Matrix(M) is connected to the 'CV' on the nn19(N), the 'gate cv' on the M is connected to the 'gate' on the N.

I can't get from here to making sounds!

-It's all connected to the mixer, but the 'note on' on the N doesn't even come on!

-I switched from 'key' to 'curve' and back on the M. I pressed 'run' on the M. And of course, I drew a pattern onto the M.

What the heck is going on?

Did i set it up wrong? or open the program in the wrong order or something- I know that can make a difference.

Hope someone can help...

BTW- for some reason I only have one demo song since my mac creshed. I used all the same install discs... Anyhow, I have nothing to compare to.

Do me a favor will ya. Open reason, then take a screenshot of your nn19 device from the front and back. Take a pic of your whole screen then paste into microsoft paint or whatever with the print screen key. Host the images in a decent quality and then give me the link on this thread.

Okay, try to copy pattern to track with the matrix for the NN19 device then play the song tell me if you hear anything. If not then heres a question.

Do you not hear the matrix in any of your reason projects or just this certain one?

The rewiring looks okay to me
