Default Make you Own REFILL

This is just something i got from another place........

How TO MAKE A REFILL

Make a folder on your harddrive which will become the refill. It's just like making a zipfile out of a folder. Now you have to make the folder structure of the refill. Open your refill folder (the one you just made). Now you have to make folders for the devices for which you have patches or samples.

Making a refill isn't very hard. You just need to know the principle of it. First thing to do is to make a folder on your hard drive which will become your refill.
I'll give you the steps which will get you to make refills just as easy.

Step 1.
Make a folder on your harddrive wich will become the refill. It's just like making a zipfile out of a folder.

Step 2.
Now you have to make the folder structure of the refill. Open your refill folder (the one you just made). Now you have to make folders for the devices for wich you have patches or samples. This can look like this:

Refill name.....Dr.Rex
.....................NN-19 ----- Sample's
.....................NN-XT ----- Sample's
.....................Redrum --- Sample's
.....................Subtractor
.....................Malstrom

The lines and dots (----.....) refer to a subfolder. In the NN-19, NN-XT and Redrum folder there must be a subfolder which contains the samples for the patches of these devices. These folders don't have to be in the folder of these devices but it's clearer that way. You could also place these folders in the root folder of the refill.

Step 3.
Copy the info.txt and the splash.jpg from the Propellerheads/Refill packer files/Template files into the rootfolder of your refill folder. The info.txt file must be used to set the info for the refill. You have to replace the refill name by the one you want to give to your refill. Add your copyright info, your website adress and additional comments. Once you have done that you must save the file without renaming it. The splash.jpg will be the refill image. You can edit it in a graphics editor. Remember that it must be 64x64 pixels or else it won't be accepted.

Step 4.
Place the samples for the devices of wich you want to make patches. It is recommendable to first place the samples and then makes patches out of them. Otherwise you must reassign the samples to the patch for accurate routing of the sample's to the patches. If this isn't in order the refill packer cannot make the refill.
The Subtractor, Malstrom and Dr.Rex files can just be placed in the folder for it coss these are standalone files and do not have any other file reference.
Once you have this all in the right place and you have filled in the info.txt file you are ready to make your refill.

Start up the Refill Packer and select the folder you made in the beginning. Now select a place where you want the output file (the refill) to be stored and you can start the refill packer by pressing create refill.

nah they dont have to be reason files as long as you have refill packer. load the sounds in whatever sampler you will like to use, you even can combin them in the combinator and customize your own sound, save it and then pack them...thats all..

Thanks for the input for teach you!
