Default BAD FORMAT problem
When i try to open reason 5 it gives me the bad format problem someone told me that i have to
remove a preference file thats corrupted or something.
Can someone help me.

I have the same problem, I tried re-installing and everything. It was having none of it -.-

Get the 5.01 update ..perhaps the bug been fixed , though personally i never came accros this "problem" ...

Anyhow , if this wouldnt work as well , try to delete the folder "Propellerhead Logs" as well from your "my documents" directory ... perhaps this is what they mean by : "remove a preference file" , and dont forget to remove the complete install folder , when re-installing ...

Goto youtube and look for a video produced by Audio Nation U "labeled" Reason 5 - Bad Format [ERROR]

It shows you how to fix the problem!!!!

He couldn't post links because he only has one post.

I'd rather ask the question why an old and dead thread from november last year was brought up now, when the users will have fixed those issue long ago...

Still. At least the solution if anyone else has this issue is here to see.
