Hey guys... I just started using reason and something is really bugging me!
When I play a track on the sequencer(pressing play at the bottom) and the song plays......when I go to press stop I still keep hearing the redrum beats for many many seconds after, it's driving me crazy!!!!!
How can I stop this?

Thanks in advance!

Hey, It maybe because you've programmed the drums into the run pattern below the redrum patch.
If you turn the 'Run' button off, the drums should stop playing. Also if you have drums programmed into the run pattern whilst the 'Run' button is on as you play the music, it will duplicate the sound with the smallest delay making the drums sound a little off.
Its usually best to program the drums in the drum edit window in the sequencer so you have more control over each ofo the beats created.

I see what your saying but no, that isn't it. The run button is not pressed neither can I actually press it...I'm very new to reason? What exactly do I need to do to stop the music from continuing to play after I have stopped the track.

Actually I think I understand what your saying. Would I have to redo everything with "pattern" off to make it work?

Or not... no I'm really lost lol

I'm not too sure.
Are you trying to play (for example...) a bassline on a substractor synth for 8 bars with drums programmed in the drum editor on a separate track - then when you stop the music the drums carry on continously?
