What does your default setup look like when begin your projects ie;
1) Mixer 14x2
2) Redrum
3) Reverb
4) Delay
etc..etc

I always have a mastering suite set up for everything to go through. Definitely important for smoothing out your mix. Sometimes I'll use a combinator with all effects loaded to add to an instrument I want to tweak. It's good to sometimes just have stuff available.

I am kind of purist in that regards. I've got only 14:2 Mixer loaded. But there's a lot of other tweaks I did, that I need for propper workflow: so, my default setup would be Tempo set to 84 BPMs, enabled looping set to 4 bars and pre-click for recording. That's all I need to start doodling, rest of the stuff is added as needed.
