| Obviously the folder does exist; the Reason.exe file is in there for Christ sake. If I search within windows for the folder, it shows up just fine with all the files and everything. Not quite sure what’s going on. Does anyone have ideas? I’m going to try and attach some pictures of the issue as well |

i recently installed my version of reason 5 and came across this problem: (don't worry i'll stay on topic) my songs froze when i was trying to do other stuff on my computer, And i had the same issue loading up a new sound.. i started reading in the help files on changing the latency and found this .. if u are using a multicore processor such as a quadcore dualcore or octacore: use the Mutlicore Audio rendering (go to edit, preferences, and general tab) see i don't know if you have a multicore processor but i have a pentium 4 (single core 2 cpu's )and so i unchecked it cuz ever since i did not receive the error report again and the sounds load up just fine, so try that and keep your fingers crossed. let me know if it worked out for you .. |

I had the same problem... 1 refill file was causing the error!!! I had to remove all refills (put on separate forlder) then I started to move some back to reason folder at the time untill I found the file that was causing the error. just remove the refills from folder,,, (not the main ones Reason installs) little by little, add refills to folder, and check to see Reason reads the folder, this way you'll know which file is causing the error. =) Now its working great!! |

Hi, I also had the same error "file not found" and also started to move some refills to an other folder. Then i suddenly saw wich refill causes the error! I had a demo refill where the filename started with a space. I removed the space and the problem is history! Strange that it didn't causes an error with Reason 4 |

If you do not have your refill files in a folder create one and it will work...

I'm getting the same error message but I have a folder with drum breaks - wav files and rex files - and I can't open the folder. Any help would be appreciated. thanks |

I have the same problem, I can not get my own 'folder shows "to show I have on my external hard drive. It worked very well for Reason 4 and if the folder exists. I get the same error message "File not found." Seems a bit strange. If anyone can help with this would be appreciated.

Na, you have not moved the folder at all. I started to make a new folder "reason" and the placement of my projects in them and my patches and templates ... Open the folder fine. But when I copy the 20gigs of spare parts, the folder does not open more. So it seems a matter of filling. After a ruse, refills spoil and corrupt. I've seen it happen to me and hommies other, without knowing why. Clicking on them gets a "bad form" and the usual open recharge anymore. 5 I guess the reason might be a bit more delicate with the format is incorrect parts. I can have a bad format in the folder will open, but once you reach many of the folder in your not even open anymore.
