Default Note slides in Reason 5

Wonder if anyone can help,
I'm making a disco house track in reason 5, and trying to replicate a funk bass guitar riff that has alot of note slides e.g: G note sliding up to the E note. But at the moment can only step up in notes. Is there a way of getting a smooth transistion from one note to another?
