| i'm a newbie to the forum with a question about using my sustain pedal with Reason 4. I'm using a 1.83Ghz Core Duo Macbook with 2 GB 667 MHz DDR2 SDRAM, running OS 10.5.8. i have a PS-12 sustain pedal (dont know the manufacturer) that i use with a Studio Logic SL-161 and Maudio Oxygen 2 midi controllers. the pedal came with a Yamaha SY77 keyboard i had years ago. anyway, on the Yamaha it worked properly: press down to sustain, depress to release the sustain. on Reason it works in reverse. i cant retrain my feeble mind to make my feet undo what its been doing for years. and i have the same problem using either midi controller. i'm guessing the issue lies in the Reason settings. its probably an easy fix, but i cant figure it out. is there anyway on Reason 4 to adjust this setting? i didnt see anything in the Preferences but maybe i missed something. or can anyone suggest another pedal? or any other advice? thanks, voodoo |
