Ah man, those are all things you can find in recycle(somewhat) and record(fully) otherwise you're looking at longer processes in a straight audio editor that has Rewire (pretty sure there are some free ones) http://www.propellerheads.se/product...on=get_article Pricewise, I'm pretty sure "record for reason owners" is like $130 and if you do end up going that route you'll at least get the newest versions of that and reason for free (if you buy before 8/25) Sorry there isn't a better solution.

| Ah man, those are all things you can find in recycle(somewhat) and record(fully) otherwise you're looking at longer processes in a straight audio editor that has Rewire 3rdFloor, Would you recommend "Record" over "Recycle" and "Rewire," from the sounds of it you do...? I have yet to try Record or the other two, but this concept of editing audio and wav files is of high priority and it would be great to do most if not all of this within Reason. The links you posted were awesome and to the point. I see from the link that FL studio can sync with Rewire to Reason, but this sounds like a big mess and a takes maybe double the processing speed that is already used for just reason and all of its gadgets. Do you have any sites or more details about "Record" besides the basic features that it offers (i.e. How it actually is used and set up?) thanks a lot |

Yeah, using Record (and I'm a VERY new user, like 2 days old) is whole lot easier than the method I was using previously--rewiring Reason to Adobe Audition. That may be because I'm so used to reason so I already know all the basic operations and the interface. The program has 3 sections: like Reason it has a sequencer and a rack, and it also has a full fledged mixing board modeled after this one: http://ja.wikizic.org/SSL-XL9000K/gallery-1.htm So the perfect thing is that Reason fits INSIDE Record when you have both programs installed. A lot of it is shown/explained here: http://www.youtube.com/user/PropellerheadSW#g/a and most of these were done in record, but some are talking only about reason: http://www.youtube.com/user/Propelle...A587134198A5E9 Yep, Rewire is a bit of a mess (or it might just be me) but it can be useful when you use multiple programs. If you're going to go this route I'd do it before the 25th so you can get both the upgrades for free (BTW, Reason 5 has true live sampling) Here's the info on which version etc http://www.propellerheads.se/reason5...e=upgrade-info I'd still download a free audio editor like Audacity so you can get very precise while editing the waveforms, like zooming in and deleting a 1 millisecond pop or something. http://audacity.sourceforge.net/

I really recommend recycle because you can do everything you just mentioned and its also very easy to use.
