Default Problems with using rewire

I just downloaded the trial version of adobe audition and hooked it up to reason using rewire but when I click to play my song it sounds like some of the parts are playing really fast and some of them are normal speed and its just crazyness! what the hell could be going on? and does anyone know of a cheaper program that I can sync with reason to easily record live instrument parts?

Also, how do I record changes in volume for all of my tracks (for instance if I want to make the entire song fade in) instead of adjusting the volume for each individual track?

and one more question. say I record a piano part for a song but i want to go back and adjust one of the filter knobs or the pitch wheel or whatever so it sounds like im changing those knobs while the piano plays how do I do this?
