| I just got an MBOX2 and Pro Tools but when I use Reason in Rewire it is slightly out of time with Pro Tools. I closed Pro Tools and looked at Reason itself on its own and realised when I hit play the marker is slightly behind where it really is in the song. This has really got me stumped because I cant seem to find any settings to change this. Ideas? |

Do you ASIO drivers? If not, might want to look into it.

In my setup latency goes up when Reason is rewired. I usually have to do recording in Reason/Record standalone if I must have do sequencing. With the mbox2 it sounds very unlikely that asio4all drivers should work at all, but I have not tried it.

Preferences/Audio--> you'll get a slider or a link to the asio-setup. There you adjust the asiobuffer, as low as possible without audio skipping. The play-marker should be in sync with the music regardless what buffer size you operate on, so that's odd.

There doesnt appear to be any lag in Reason on its own. the thing is when you use Rewire you cant edit the audio settings in Reason as it says its in Rewire mode. At the moment i hit play in Pro Tools with Reason Rewired and Pro Tools starts instantly and Reason about 0.6 seconds later. Its actually doing my head in... |
