ive reinstalled reason due to the hard drive formating,today i loaded up a sample in my nnxt , and made my thor patch ,while the sample is playing , each time i trigger my thor patch (ive split the keys) it somehow lowers the volume of the sample running in the background,and the more keys i press the less i hear the sample,why is this happening , it didnt happen before using the same sample and the same patch?Can you tell me why?

Sound drivers perhaps ? I use the asio4all drivers

3 possibilities:

2. If not, try panning +2 or 3 on one and (-) the same amount on the other.

3. Another way: On one of them - Raise the frequency that's being cut the most by 1 or 2 db with a wide Q, and on the other instrument drop that frequency by a few db with a narrow Q

The first thread was the answer also by looking through the forums ive noticed you have a lot of expirience ,so do you mind helping me,with something else as well, for example in this song http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qjJK4632fn4

Now im ok with making the harsh synth that comes later on ,but how do i make the noise(or that squeaky synth or whatever it is) that appears at 0:05 and also how can i create something simmilar to the sound of the bass in this song (which starts from the very begginging ) not including the drums and stuff just this blunt synth below.

Reasonably sure that squeak sound is a sample of a phone ringing, the way you'd hear it through the earpiece.
If I'm thinking of the right bass sound: a quick way is 2 saw waves an octave apart > Through an LP filter w/a little bit of envelope > then through a reverb. Possibility of some slight chorus on that.

*Just realized I was hearing the wrong one. Not sure about that bass, there's so much going on around it that I can barely hear it, but I think I'm hearing a square wave in it
