Your sounds? Try to explain this more clearly. Is reason not recognizing samples that you've collected? If so you must know that reason can only samples wav or aiff with certain devices in reason. Wav or aiff files are used through devices like the NNXT device. I'm not sure if that was your question, if not then just tell me detailed with your next reply. _SG_ |

Are you talkin' about your designed sounds using Reason instruments (i mean moving knobs and faders and then saving)? If you have reason 3 you could try: right button (pc), ctrl+click (mac) "Create device by browsing patches" and then selecting your designed patches folder 'cause maybe, you don't remember for what instrument they were designed. I'm not sure if possible, but maybe, you has replaced the original sounds saving yours instead them, and now you're lookin' for them in the wrong place. Other probably solution: maybe you has saved your projects but not your "sounds". It's very different one thing than the other: you save the project clicking save in the menu File>Save/Save As (even, the configuration of your used instruments remain been the same you keep, if you hasn't reload the unsaved sound). But for save a sound designed using Reason instruments, you most click on the left DISK labeled button of each instrument, Not the FOLDER labeled!. I preffer to keep all my created sounds in a separated folder, doing this, when i reinstall there is no risk to lose my files. If u use mac, maybe you saved your sounds without using "filename+dot+file extension" if that, Reason probably can't use them. If truth, try attaching dot+file extension to you files in the mac Finder and do it again. If you don't know the extension type, see it in other original files. Helpful, confusing, boring? darbo |

Okay, first off. Stop typing in caps, doesn't help any more then lowercase. I see now that your favorites are not recognizing properly, but what I do not get is this "Caution sign" you say you see. Can you take a pic of your pc screen when you look for your favorites upload it then show us. Use "prt sc" on your keyboard to do this. This will be very helpful to us helping you. _SG_ |
