Volume Question

Just wondering if there is a way in Reason 4 to change the volume of a single note throught its duration, rather than just the initial starting volume of the note?

Amplitude Envelope is one method. Connect an LFO to the Master Level is another. Connect a Matrix Pattern Step sequencer and use the Curve and route the curve into the master level is yet a different approach. Or you could use edit automation on the Master level, or Mixer panel to make the changes manually.

Will any of these meathods allow me to adjust the volume of a note throughout its duration without affecting other notes sounding at the same time on that track, or will it change the volume for the entire track?

it will have an impact on the complete instrument in most cases.
