| I attempted to do this by creating a new zone for every sample, selecting the sample, selecting the key, and then selecting the root note corresponding to that key. To me this seemed pretty intuitive and visually it looked like everything might go smoothly. I was so wrong. For one, whatever key I had selected in the window was the only key that would play across the ENTIRE piano roll. Two, that sample would change pitch depending what key I played it on. And three, the sample would cut off as soon as I let go of the key. So a hit on the ride would get cut off. I'm pretty sure the REDRUM device doesn't do it. Can anyone please inch me in the right direction? Last edited by eindoofus; June 16th, 2010 at 15:25. |

1. You need to set a specific range for the low key / high key to fix that part. 2. Set k.Track of the pitch section on 0 to prevent the pitch changes per note 3. Get a basic knowledge about Amplitude envelopes. If you have it, you would know that you should increase the Decay/Release to make the volume not to drop off. so to do the exact opposite, drop the release of the amp env. |
