Red face Bass disruption

Hello guys

Im new to Reason, and Im trying to do some house-like songs, but everytime I want to make the climax in the song I boost up my kick-bass, and this automatically oscillates the synths Im using. Sometimes it sounds nice, but it is too noticealble in the transition between the "build up" and the climax. I tried with the sidechain compression on my Dr. Rex (which Im using) and my synth (malmström/thor). But I don't really hear any change. WHAT TO DO?

Are you positive you're using the right control to boost? What exactly are you tweaking?

I checked up un the connections, and found the mistake. Now it sounds better, but it still oscillates a bit. Is there any way to totally avoid this? Or do I have to master in EQ'ing?

If you still have it side-chained, try disconnecting that, otherwise: unless the loop is hooked up to the synths someplace there shouldn't be any cross feed at all.
Simple possibility - any way you dragged a rex clip into the wrong track by mistake?

when you mute the rex track (or one of the others) in the sequencer do you still get the same effect?

Only other thing I can come up with at the moment - and cant figure out how it could be done by mistake - is that when you've pressed "to track" on the rex, then play the song AND press "preview" on the rex you'll get a strange filter sort of sound. Doing something strange like that?
