Switching from pc to mac

So I use to have Reason 4 on PC, but I have recently switched to a Mac (great decision by the way). I no longer have the original copy of Reason, but I backed up the software on a DVD-R (for personal use only, no sharing) and have come across a problem: my Mac won't even read the PC back up disk. Any suggestions, clarifications?
